I feel as though my posts have been lackluster lately, I've been battling a cold which finally came full-on this week rendering me pretty useless. The Hanukkah doughnuts helped, but they could do only so much, Veronica Mars on demand helps even more (Comcast finally did something right)plus the fact that it's Friday. There are so many sales out there, my congested head is spinning. If you have the time and energy to go through them, the department store sales this weekend will probably be very worthwhile. I'm partial to Bloomingdales, but Saks and Barneys also have great sales going.

But if you want to shop from your desk, as I do (cough, sneeze) there are good deals to be had, with free shipping that is lightening fast.

Yoox (designer discount site) is offering free shipping until December 23rd, and they have some fantastic things at great prices. In addition to the Vince sweaters I posted a little while back, (some of which they still have) there are some gorgeous dresses, pants, jewelry, pretty much everything.

Cool Men's Watch

My husband is really into watches, and I have to admit I have been enjoying looking at them with him, but he is really into the actual mechanics and I'm just into how they look and if they can be worn swimming or not. So, we have to reach a compromise and something like this can do that -

I think it looks really cool (it's a men's watch, but I like it for either men or women), and it has an alarm which makes the husband happy - he likes the alarm function. I don't know. AND it's on sale for half price at Smartbargains. So...if you need a watch, or want to buy a gift this would make a great one.

Out shopping recently I encountered these fantastic men's jeans - the 7 For All Mankind Standard in Sri Lanka -





They are a slim cut without being too hipster skinny, perfect for a guy who gets lost in relaxed style jeans. They come in other colors which are also really attractive, but this Sri Lanka is a great light blue, perfect for Spring and Summer.

The Perfect Men's Shoe

I have found what I think is the perfect shoe for many men - and it's actually an ankle boot. That can seem a little scary to men who haven't ventured into that territory before, but this Kenneth Cole New York version is really ideal, it's a great way to ease into something different and look great doing it.





It goes with jeans and trousers, comes in black as shown and a beautiful brown, and it's on sale. Either color would work wonderfully in pretty much an wardrobe I can imagine.
