The WSJ has an article about the Anna Wintour spearheaded event - Fashion night out, on Sept 10. Apparently all the retailers have agreed not to have sales then. Not sure I like that. Click here to read it.
It also addresses our desire to buy things for the current season, rather than plan months in advance. I know for me, when it' s hot out, the last thing I want to buy is a wool sweater.
