The Perfect Flat for Fall

Somehow life has gotten in the way of blogging yet again, but I haven't forgotten and I'm always looking around for great pieces that need to be posted. This time it's the perfect flat shoe for fall -

It has the perfect shape, and I love the rivets all around it and across the toe. It also comes in a fantastic silver which might even be better than the black. None of my shoes get more wear than my metallic flats...treat them like a neutral and wear with everything!

Wedge Sandals under $100

I think this Spring is all about the shoes, in addition to the high-heeled sandals I posted wedge styles are huge. They can be more comfortable for everyday wear, particularly with a platform in front so the heel won't feel so high.


I can't believe I'm posting this pair, it's very cute but it's, gulp, by Crocs. I know, I can't believe it either. I hope it means they are comfortable in addition to being cute and inexpensive -

The New Sandal

I have been gazing longingly at so many of the new super high-heeled chunky sandals at Shopbop, but they are so expensive (Balmain...) The J Crew versions are also gorgeous but still hover around $300 so I was really excited to find these options that are all under $150. Some of them come in a lighter color as well, so click on them to see.

My New Red Skirt

On a whim the other day I walked into Anthropologie and actually bought something. I spend so much time looking at clothes online I rarely actually shop for myself in a store these days, but they had this red brocade skirt marked down so many times it was too good a deal to pass up -





I can't find a better picture online, it's slightly high waisted with a bubble shape and pockets. On me it isn't so much a mini skirt, but it looks great with a pair of high heels, I'm thinking my nude patent pumps, or a funky new sky-high heeled sandals like the Jcrew ones I posted last week.
