Workout Clothes vs. Hanukkah Celebrating...

Hanukkah is relentless. 8 nights, and at this rate far far more than 8 doughnuts will be consumed. It's a bad sign that halfway through the holiday I have already eaten way more than 4...ick. I'm thinking a lot of exercising will need to go on to make up for this brutal week of doughnut and latke consumption.

The Best Cashmere Sweater

It is cold here. Not the kind of cold we usually complain about, where it's 50 degrees and drafty. It is seriously cold here, freezing in fact. I had to bring in my plants last night. And all I can think about are warm cozy sweaters. I love this soft and thick cashmere cardigan -




It's got the drapey front I love so much, you can wrap it around yourself like a blanket when you are sitting, or just let it flow. It will make any jeans and tank or tee look amazing, just throw on a great necklace or pair of earrings and you are good to go. This sweater would make a fantastic gift if you are in the market for something like that. Everyone loves cashmere!

Calvin Klein Naked Line

I helped a client buy some beautiful party dresses recently, we also had to make sure she had the right undergarments which can be really tough with some thin jersey or silk dresses. This thong is magic, it both disappears under the clothes, and is comfortable. That would make it the holy grail of lingerie I think -

They are definitely worth checking out. And the line also includes boy shorts and strapless bras, all great things to have in party season.

Body Scrubs

I usually start the week with the sample sales, but to be honest, I wasn't so excited about anything I saw coming up. Instead, I thought I'd post something I have been looking for - a good exfoliant for the shower.

The best would be these Fresh Sugar scrubs -

but they are pretty expensive, and I'm not going to spend $65 on a scrub (but more power to you if you can. The top one is $65, the second one is $48) but I have found that scrubs with sugar in them make my skin incredibly soft.

It's rare that Bliss Labs products look downright reasonable, but they do here (and wouldn't they make lovely gifts?) This is their new one -

or the lovely lemon and sage version -

I checked out the Sephora version of these things and they are cheaper, but for half the amount, making the Bliss version actually cheaper per ounce. I thought that was interesting comparison shopping.

This next brand, 100% Pure, is actually pure - no unrecognizable ingredients and nothing people think may be harmful (like parabens, etc) and it comes in many different fruit 'flavors' AND it's cheaper than all the others. My favorite is this blood orange version -

If you are always looking for natural products it's worth taking a look at their other products as well.
